Soprano of Elegance and Passion.<\/h1>\n

Education<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Born into a Belgian-German Family of Mozart enthusiasts in Heidelberg, Eleonore Marguerre studied singing at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. In addition she studied Labour law, economics, and history at the Technical University in Darmstadt.
\nTo arouse enthusiasm for classical music in other people is her greatest wish – which is why she launched the first opera guide podcast<\/a> “Leonore &Fidelio” (in German mostly) in 2017 and is very involved in the field of music education.<\/p>\n

Having won prizes in competitions such as the Leyla Gencer Voice Competition or the Boris Christoff competition Mrs. Marguerre went on to appear on the major stages of Europe including Teatro alla Scala in Milan (Venus in Ascanio in Alba), La Fenice in Venice (Juliette) and the Vienna State Opera.<\/p>\n

Guesting contracts led Marguerre to Deutsche Oper am Rhein in D\u00fcsseldorf (Violetta\/LA TRAVIATA), to Staatstheater Cottbus (Leonore\/FIDELIO), to Oper Frankfurt (Isolde\/LE VIN HERB\u00c9), to Opera de Lausanne (Rosalinde\/DIE FLEDERMAUS), to Oper Leipzig (Agathe\/DER FREISCH\u00dcTZ), aand to the Staatstheater Wiesbaden (Arabella\/ARABELLA). She sang as well at Grand Theatre de Geneve (Saffi\/DER ZIGEUNERBARON, MANON), Theatre de la Monnaie (Fox, Lisak\/CUNNING LITTLE VIXEN) und Elisabeth\/FRANKENSTEIN), Musiktheater im Revier (World Premiere of \u201eStadt der Arbeit\u201c und Laura HINDEMITH\/NEUES VOM TAGE) or as Hanna Glawari\/DIE LUSTIGE WITWE to Oper Bonn and Wuppertal.

She is working closely with director Jens-Daniel Herzog. During his directory at Oper Dortmund she sang Manon (Massenet), Arabella, Violetta, Marguerite (FAUST), Contessa Almaviva, Fiordiligi und Poppea in Monteverdis L\u2018Incoronazione di Poppea as well as at Opera N\u00fcrnberg she starred as Natascha Rostova (WAR AND PEACE), Tomiri (TALESTRI) and the Grand-Duchess (GRANDDUCHESS OF GEROLSTEIN).<\/p>\n

Her growing discography includes Die Sch\u00f6ne Galathee with Capriccio, Mozart\u2018s fragment Demofoonte with Arts Music, Das Lied von der Glocke with CPO and Mendelssohn\u2018s Lobgesang with H\u00e4nssler.<\/p>\n

She is the author of a Guide to Operasingers (“Earn a fee for your High C”, Donatus, 2020) and a Graphic Book “Wozu das ganze Theater?” (Donatus 2020).<\/p>\n
